Education Pay

In this topic I'm going to talk about two arguments. There are people say that should pay for full cost of their studies rather than being given free higher education, here in HCT we do not have to pay except what we pay for laptops.

Firstly, the people who agree with paying for higher education, actually there is no many ideas to support this argue. However, people support their view because every where people should pay for education even for school. They think people should pay because they will work hard and study hard in college also they support college to develop their resource and education when they pay also it can help in the payment for the staff salaries.

The second argue is a person have not pay for education because maybe there are not many people going to learn in high education. However, those people believe the reason why the education is free, because the government wants to support people to learn and to give them some help. Also they need educated people in this country.

Overall, here you can found free college and not free college so you can chose between colleges even schools. What do you think is better you can chose it up to you. But I think the second argue is better because we educated people and if you change every things to private it may cause reducing in the number for students in higher educations.

Immigration to the Uk

The graph shows the number of people by thousands and date of entry to the UK from the West Indies, India and Pakistan. The graph shows this immigration to the UK in the period from 1940 to 1980.

Firstly, there was a slight increase from West Indies and India and Pakistan for the first 10 years. Then there was a sharp increase for the West Indies from 5 thousand to about 17 thousand people and it happened in the period between1953 to 1957. In the same period the Indian and Pakistani peoples numbers only slightly increased. The period between1962 to 1967 showed a sharp increase for people from West Indies and people from India and Pakistani. After 1967 there was a sharp decrease for West Indies and Indians and Pakistanis, but the number in this period for people from India and Pakistan was higher than the number of West Indies immigrants.

Overall, the number of people fluctuated and the number of immigrants from West Indies was less in total than the number of immigrants from India and Pakistan especially in the last period.

Examinations/ good or bad

Every college or school today depends on examinations to measure the performance of the students. There are two views, one supports banning exams and the other thinks exams are good.

First, the people who like to support banning exams have reasons and see this topic from different angles. However, examinations make students nervous and stressed. Otherwise, they think using homework is better than the examinations. Also, it’s an unfair way to assess knowledge. I want to argue that the examinations are not a good way for a complete evaluation of students skills and abilities. Examinations can’t measure all the knowledge except the questions on the exam sheets. So they focus just on important points.

On the other hand, exams are good incentive for students to study and review course materials. It helps them to work hard and study well. They are a fair assessment because the same test is used for all students and that shows the fair view for examinations. Also, exams help students to know what they understand and don’t understand of the course content, so they can go back and make sure they understand the material.

Overall, in my opinion both views have good points and I think I will take good points from the both views. The main point is we should make a mix between these good points and make sure we assign marks in a fair way.

Animal Testing

Have you ever considered fact that every year millions of animals undergo painful death as result of scientific research? Because while most people think animal testing is necessary, others are upset by what they see as needless suffering. This essay outlines some of the arguments for and against animal testing.
First, let’s look at the arguments. One very positive point is that many medical treatments and procedures have been developed from such experiments. Since animal share many features with humans, scientists use animals to test the safety and effectiveness of newly developed drugs. Moreover, there is a large supply of animals. Some, such as mice and rats, have many babies, and there is no danger of extinction for these species. Finally, some advocates think that animals are less valuable than people. If there is a mistake, it will not cost a human life.
However, there are also a number of arguments against animal testing. Perhaps the most important point is that animals may be suffering unnecessarily. Critics do not believe that every new drug needs to be tested on animals. Furthermore, some feel animal testing is ineffective; they point out that many drugs still have to be withdrawn from the market despite extensive testing. Last, some campaigners would like to see alternative used. They feel more human testing is possible and, too, that we could rely more on organ donors.
To conclude, we need to ensure that animals used for experimental purpose do not suffer much pain. Although some animal testing may be unavoidable at present, treating our fellow creatures mercifully will demonstrate our humanity.

The table shows the number of miles travelled in Wales, including type of walking, bicycles, cars, local buss, coach, trains and taxis in 1990 and 2005.

Coach, trains and taxis increased from 54, 289 and 13 to 124, 366 and 42 respectively. The biggest increased happened for cars; it changed from 3199 to 4806 in 2005. The special case happened for local bus, it decreased from 429000 to 274000 in 2005. And maybe it decreased because the number of cars and taxis was increased.

drugs problems/soluation

I want to talk in this essay about the most dangerous problem in the world it is drugs. Drugs are a very famous problem in the world and most countries have this problem. I will talk in this essay about the problems then I give solutions.
The first problem when the people take drugs then directly change became as same as crazy people. Drugs also are dangerous for health because it destroys brain cells and your body. The countries now which have many people who take drugs have growing crime problems, so drugs are problem. It also causes many other problems in the community. The main problem is the level of education and what the people know about drugs and the effect on their life.
On the other hand, we have solutions for any problems. One of the solutions is hospital with just treatment for drugs, alcohols and the other main problems. The punishment also can deter people who are selling, buy and make drugs. As I said, the main problem is the education. We have to educate people and learn them about the effects of the drugs.
In conclusion, I advise all families to take care of their children and make sure they know what the dark parts in the world are and what the effects are

rewrite Problem/solution essay (draft 2)

Twenty years before the UAE did not have problems such as now. Always developed cities and the number of the population is facing increasing problems. I will mention some of these problems and I will try to put solutions.
The first of these problems are traffic congestion. This is a natural with the increasing number of drivers and the number of vehicles in the city. The reason for this is that because the travel by private car is the most commonly used in the UAE. This makes it worse in the morning when people go to work and they return in the afternoon. The second problem is traffic accidents which are also cause of traffic congestion and the speeding. The last problem that I would like to talk about is parking especially.
First, we can solve the problem of traffic congestion by widen roads, streets, and rebuild the infrastructure. We can also reduce traffic congestion by providing means of transport other than taxis and at a lower cost for example buses and metro. I advise ministries not to make the start times at the same time. In the sense that not all people start their work at the seven or eight and that is what is going on here. Most of the business starts at the same time. In the other hand, if we reduce traffic congestion we can also reduce traffic accident. The last problem is parking we can reduce it by build building just for parking near the residential areas.
In conclusion, Problems such as these take time to resolve and require advance planning. And do not forget the work of traffic to mitigate these problems and apply the law seriously.
